Anxiety is typically linked to the future, arising from fear or worry about what might happen—uncertainty, potential dangers, or worst-case scenarios. Depression, on the other hand, is often rooted in the past—regret, guilt, loss, or feelings of hopelessness.
Where focus goes, energy flows—and results follow. By shifting focus to the present moment, we can better manage both anxiety and depression. A powerful reminder for regaining control is “What can I do with what I have in this moment?” As Master Oogway wisely said in Kung Fu Panda: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." Comments are closed.
